If I’m feeling a bit fatigued or a headache is coming on, I instinctively gravitate toward my Magic Bullet…
I think my body just knows now that it feels better after getting some good nutrition.
This smoothie, in particular, is my go-to. I drink it every couple days, if not everyday. And it’s a time-saver because can drink it while I’m working or even driving.
So I thought I’d share with you what I put in my two-cup Bullet:
3/4 cup frozen organic fruit
pour in almond milk till level with fruit
2 tablespoons Ancient Nutrition Bone Broth protein powder
2 teaspoons Young Living Sulfurzyme powder
1 teaspoon Axe Organics SuperGreens powder (or dump in the greens from two Young Living Multigreens capsules, which tastes better)
1 teaspoon chia seeds
handful spinach
1/2 cup So Delicious plain coconut yogurt
1-2 tablespoons honey
About the powders:
Bone Broth protein supports healthy joints, skin, muscles, and detox.
Sulfurzyme is an MSM/Ningxia wolf berry supplement that our bodies need to maintain the structure of proteins, protect cells and cell membranes, replenish the connections between cells, and preserve the molecular framework of connective tissue. MSM also supports the immune system, the liver, circulation, and proper intestinal function and works to scavenge free radicals. Wolfberries contain minerals and coenzymes that support the assimilation and metabolism of sulfur.
SuperGreens boost energy and support metabolism, digestion, detox, and immunity.
It amazes me how much better I feel after having my afternoon smoothie. I feel uplifted, energized, and think more clearly. Good nutrition is a game-changer!
If you try my smoothie combo, let me know what you think! What do you add to your smoothies to boost energy?
